legal disclaimer:

there is no financial transaction going on in this "gambling" at all - the stakes are completely virtual, the "money" does not exist. the things you are "buying" can not be bought with actual money.

ok now that that's out of the way, here's a brief overview:

-Each player who signs up is given $100,000 usd (9,314.46 euros)
-Betting starts 3 days before matches, players may bet as much of their money as they wish.
-A table will also be posted here showing how much money each player has left.
-Players bet against the house, no private bets are allowed
-Betting is closed 10 minutes before the match begins, no bets submitted after that deadline will be valid.
-New financial standings will be posted on the gambling forum 1 day after the match.

At the end of the season, players can use money to buy various things in SWZ, such as prox, super, ship upgrades, or convert them to points.

1) We can only claim prizes AFTER the league, or anytime we want?

2) In that case, How much will the prizes cost to get from this, and how will it be claimed?

This sounds cool.

Having to wait until the end of the season to spend your money sounds like a good idea also. It'll encorage more betting and no one will be lame by signing up for the $100,000 just to spend it to upgrade their ship the same day. Put a deadline for last day to sign up also.
