Ok... For all you who know about Thin Mints...and Samoas...and such...the time has come to order your Girl Scout Cookies. I will ship them to you at my cost for orders of 2 boxes or more. They are $3 a box. I need to sell 100 boxes so the Kidlet gets her t-shirt and not the crappy "Cookie Diva" pin which I find offensive to be honest LOL. Anyway... The cookies are: Trefoils (shortbread) Samoas (chocolate and cocoanut) Thin Mints (40 to the box or something, chocolate and mint) Do-Si-DOs (peanut butter cremes) Tagalongs (peanut butter on cookie covered in chocolate) Ole Ole (pecan cookies covered in powdered sugar, these are new..aka Mexican Wedding Cakes) Aloha Chips (with macadamia nuts and white fudge chips) All Abouts (shortbread dipped in chocolate) $3 a box, any kind. I am accepting PayPay for payment(www.x.com) and if you order I will toss in the SS patches I had made that I give out as awards. Buy 10 boxes or more and I will toss in a SS hat, as long as they last... Email me at mom@zetasquad.com with your order and shipping

I love all these fun and entertaining events mom keeps coming up with for the zone. First "stealth bunny," now it's "buy the most cookies for a prize." Wait...what are the prizes again mom? ;) Sure we get patches and hats...but the top buyer...what's in it for him/her besides badass girl scout cookies? All this talk about collecting food online gave me an idea. Has anyone heard of or thought of online canned good drives or something? Each forum on ForumHQ or some site competes with the other forums to send the most canned goods to some place and then the top three forums get some kind of prizes. Although I'm not sure what the prizes could be, I'm sure I could think of something if I put more thought into this. But seriously...doesn't an online food drive sound like something that might work? (not as a business, of course) IP: Logged |

Clever trick, btw...post about your family's loss, get us feeling nice and sympathetic, and then hit us up for some cash ;)-Craw (this was meant to be funny...if anyone finds this is in poor taste, which I'm sometimes not good at picking up on, let me know and all this will be removed) IP: Logged |

Mmmm....Thin Mints...cannot resist...the...thin.......mints.........Mom, expect a visit sometime next week. I'm suffering from Thin Mint withdrawal right now...and I'm fairly certain that Kidlet'll have no problem selling (at least) 100 boxes of cookies, if not the Thin Mints alone! ^_^IP: Logged |

Fern...You can either ask your buddies what they want and send me an email. Then when I get the cookies I can drive down to the base if you want and deliver them. Or, you can head up here and I will grill a steak for you and you can take the cookies back with you. You dont have to pay till you recieve the cookies... I get them Feb 28th... I am planning on shipping the orders out by March 2nd. Mom IP: Logged |

hmm glad I checked the boards. I was wondering how I was gonna get my fix this year. Driving around asking everyone if they have seen any girl scouts gives the wrong impression. My love of samoas was outwieghed by my fear of a large samoan man wanting to be my friend in jail. Mom to the rescue again. IP: Logged |

Thank you for all of you who have ordered and especially those of you who have paid already. Kidlet is up to 133 boxes (which means she gets 2 patches, the dreaded Cookie Diva pin and the t-shirt) She still has an on-site sale in March to do and she may make 150 boxes total which would get her the Stuffed Gibbon toy monkey guy. Now, you need to understand how much this all means to me. When I was a Brownie. 26 years ago, I absolutely hated it. I hated selling stuff, I hated asking, we lived in an area saturated with Girl Scouts so no one wanted to buy anymore cookies. My mom ended up buying 21 boxes so I could get the t-shirt and not feel like an outcast (only needed to sell 30 boxes back then or something stupid) Now, I could have bought $300 worth of cookies I suppose and then given them away. Whenever a Girl Scout comes to my door I buy one box from each, so they all have a name on that list they can look at. But, you guys had Kidlet just jumping up and down for joy when we totalled up the sales. She is already planning the thank you cards lol. Anyway, for having such a crappy year so far, personally (2 deaths in the family in one week, my birthday was basically forgotten by everyone here at home except Kidlet (who read Papa the riot act) and the constant daily stress of 20 people continuously complaining about a free game) THANK YOU for helping me with my kidlet's indentured servitude to the Girls Scouts. I have never been one for forced fun social clubs but Kidlet wanted to try it. I have my fingers crossed for next year that she would rather take up kayaking with me (= All the cookies will be delivered to me by Feb 28th and I will mail them out by March 2. Thank you again... you really have no idea how much I appreciate you guys. Mom IP: Logged |
