c mon someone has got to know where i can get the old autopilot for ss.it was made back at like version 1.22 as a addon for ss players for no good reason. it is just fun. there was a site, i don't know where it is now. Quick* IP: Logged |

bah i get all excited for nothing  thankx for the help though but that just gives older versions of ss. this EXTRA program for ss came out at about 1.22 but it wasn't a part of the download for ss. it was from a players site, not a server site. Quick* IP: Logged |

i don't want it for that reason, i want it to see how it works program wise not use it. it doesn't do anything just fly you in circles and fire randomly. you would just die over and over if you used it. **a benefit for those players that want the rec of worst rec ever. jsut egt this prog and leave for a day :P ** Quick* IP: Logged |

Quickshot: I would imagine you could just use a macro program to accomplish the same thing. Get it to hit some random directions and fire a couple of times and then repeat the macro. I think that's a pretty lame way to go about getting worst rec, considering you'll be point whoring at the same time. Also, records aren't real unless you do it...not your machine. -Craw IP: Logged |

this is not a "bot" program, it is just a program that self extracts to ss. then you can just run it from the handy lil icon it puts on your desktop.i rephrase "not a bot" Quick* p.s. it was on an old old users ss page, something someone just made up and thought it would be neat to hand out to users. they are ss updates, then in that section of the site there was an autopilot prog. what I think would be neat is an AI program that could pilot computer controlled ships... This would be handy for practicing offline... Even if they were incredibly easy to kill, it could be used to practice lining up difficult shots, etc... I do see the problem with people using such programs for point whoring, and I don't yet see a way out of the dilemma... Oh well, as far as I know there's no such program anyway, so it's moot.Oh by the way, I'm back  IP: Logged |
