you talk about mods abusing their power; please read the news text - abusing the staff will not be tolerated. sure, we can take a certain amount of trash that inconsiderate and immature people like you throw at us, which we do. however, a personal attack like that is just too much and a line has to be drawn. let me remind you that the staff here volunteer our precious time and effort to make sure this zone remains a fun environment for the players here. we do not get paid, we do this willingly. we don't need to put up with crap from people who like to whine about this and that, but we do. sure, sometimes we make mistakes - we're only human. but in this case, banning you isn't. your continual whining on this forum and screaming that mods are abusing their power for banning you with the name "Mom Abuse Her Kids" will only make you look more and more like the ass you are. too bad i cant ban you longer so you can take the time off to grow up. then again, i dont think subspace will be around in another 20 years.

Obviously there is no equality in this zone.

Ive seen too many contradictions in this zone from too many moderators, and I used to complain to, but I gave up, and you guys should realize SWZ is the worst run zone of any out there.
Thats why the population sucks, its getting drvin into the ground.
The SWZ Leagues are the worst run of any zone.
I doing this so you can prove me wrong, cuase I enjoy SWZ, just ppl that do care get overrun by people who care only bout power and nothing else.

SWZFL - Dead?
SWZL - Unheard of
New posts - non existant
Sysop - Never around, not informed
Mods - almost useless due to bots, yet never hold any events

no special events like EG
Cap ships are ruining too many flags games.
No new ideas implemented
All new ideas are instead ignored

Mom is probably the best mod and the only one doing her job and beyond.

This zone is fun to play, and would be even more fun if we gernerated 100+ players a day.

The SWZT is the only league getting anywhere (and its not run by a zeta)

Is there a coorelation between Zetas and nothing getting done?
Mom is the only zeta who is seen doing anything for this zone

ANd if your doing things behind wraps, your basically wasting time.

Secondly, the only "crap" I said to you all night was, due to the doorwarping and base-hopping and trashtalking in public, which I never expected from you, I said, "funny I had voted to have youback on zeta....now that I know how you think."

Ocon... I don't know why you lashed out so badly. I simply didn't want to hear someone who, at that moment, I had had no problem with, mocking the team. Where does it say we have to listen to everyone all the time? And, if you further look... I never had you on ignore.

Would you prefer that I didn't tell you you were on ignore and let you think I condoned what you said? And, if I am such a terrible person, why do you care at all?

Thirdly, if anyone in the zone is in a #private arena even the mods respect that. If you weren't trying to harass me, then why was it so important to you to do a ?find Mom. and guess where I was?

Fourthly, I do not have level 1 bang access. I had gotten permission from a level 1 council member sysop, who, when you entered my private arena, I told him the situation of the name Mom Abuse Her Kid, and he suggested a very long network ban. I wanted to verify that if you got a ban it would be 1 day or less. In fact, I asked him to lift it after about 12 hours. The local ban is for 7 days, and that was enacted by a mod, who, by the way, is not a Zeta. I left the decision up to the mods and even conferred with another pilot who is not on staff on what he thought should happen.

Basically, you should have quit while you were ahead. I don't find any justification for the treatment you have inflicted. I put you on ignore mentally, live with it. You weren't even going to be banned with the name Mom Abuse Her Kid until you entered my private arena and it was apparent you were harrassing me. When I said you entered the private arena, tones made the call that the pilot Mom Abuse Her Kids was over-the-line.

I wasn't even going to bother responding to the posts, but saying I was crap talking was just too funny.

Yes, people have problems with authority and staff and life.

Kula, we are trying to get things moving and posts made. It's difficult when you compare our zone of 70 ppl to a zone of 200. The amount of people to help is greatly reduced. In a post I made earlier, somewhere, we are very open to any event suggestions, maps and bases are still being accepted and sent on to CH, mod applications are constantly being reviewed. We can post: No new news today, if you like just so you know what is going on.

On the website are all the functions of the smods and mods.
Clint is the web-html guy so you can harrass him with stuff.
GL has left and is playing some other game, you can contact him just to say hi...he misses us.
CH is back from his trip to China and has bought a lot of cheap electronics.
miew is on vacation.
FlyingFort screwed up his hd and is trying to get it to work.

I will get someone to post the news more often, even if you guys want "I passed High School and finally going to a college with a oc3 connection...wooooo!" but that would have to be approved by CH if we can do that.

Anyway, Ocon, sorry you got your feelings hurt. Stop being a weenie, hon.

Kula, all you have to do to see the status of the leagues is go to their respective websites. SWZFL had a HUGE first season. Everyone (with perhaps two exceptions, heh...) had a helluva time and now the semi-finals are going on. The final game will be an enormous crowd draw.

There WILL be a second season of SWZFL if I have anything to say about it. It was a lot of fun, even for the overworked staff (slaves). =)

I'm not sure about the status of SWZL, but I think HBK wants to make sure everyone is satisfied with the rules and all that before league play begins. Why don't you go help out if you're so concerned. People always piss and moan about things not getting organized when they don't even offer to help out.

As for abusive mods, my god! These people volunteer their time to help keep the zone running smooth. Why do you feel the need to bring them to the point of wanting to ban you in the first place? You should be grateful for the work they do for YOU!

Kula: Zetas did not run swzfl gl did and madd runs swzt. hbk does a fine job with swzl so that comment was bullshit. Also me, ff,hbk and cuerve muerte recently busted ass on that new map you are playing on. Pointy has been working with settings and even lag settings to make swz more fun. Pm is always asking for suggestions and improvments and has been very fast about implimenting them.

The big problem with staff in swz right now is we can only train mods 2 at a time (anymore is too much) But we really need to reconsider rehiring (or at least trying to) some of the staff that quit over the trint fiasco. we lost about 30% of our experianced staff in less than a week and we really never recovered.

And ocon, cmon man....If you can't find something better to do with your time than play SS for your 7 days of being banned, then I'm truly sorry for you. Just ask me and I'll reccomend so damn fine books to you, excellent TV shows, and maybe even a movie or two. Not to mention doing other things that involve natural sunlight coming in contact with your skin.

Also, get a clue. Why does it matter what Mom's reasons for ignoring you were? She doesn't have to justify those kinds of actions to you or anyone else, just like any other player. You've gone from trying to prove your ban as being unfair to a personal attack on Mom once you found out she had nothing to do with the bans. Let me also point out that you did this in the game too. You turned something miniscule that Mom said into this big fiasco and personally attacked her.

And so we end yet another chapter in Ocon's exciting soap opera!
