Damn...one thing I've learned in the last couple months is that 'Net access is something one tends to take for granted...you never really appreciate it until you DON'T HAVE IT ANYMORE. I was lucky I got the little time I have now...Anyway, I'm on board USS Nimitz steaming somewhere in the Atlantic (can't say where) enroute to new homeport of San Diego, where we hope to be sometime next month. In the meantime, this is about the limit to what I can do, given our limited bandwidth (if I tried to play even SS on this network, I'd have ploss and pings in the millions, easily.) Covert ops, olive? Hardly. Unless they're not telling me something... (like that never happens :/ )Well, I'm back (for another fifteen minutes or so, anyway; they've got time limits on the WWW computers...grr...) Anyway, things are going...well...as well as can be expected considering we've been canned up inside this monstrosity for over three weeks now. Well, the way things have been going lately, I'm half expecting the computer (among other things) to go dead any minute, so I'll keep this short. Have fun, and maybe (God willing) I'll see you in SS in a few weeks. DS3 .... and if u chk DS's are no longer a rate all moved to FC's or ET's now I believe there's a IT rate .. Anyways I would do anything to be over there kicking raghead butt.....sigh... but I did my share in the gulf...... Maybe we'll swap sea stories someday.....err maybe not I dont thk theres enough diskstorage to record sea stories !!! later shipmate DOC BTW I served on FFG27 a real ship not one of those big loveboats..... long live the numbnuts !!!!!!!!
